All In - Part 2 of 5

* BEGIN SCENE *



ATHENS, GREECE

* Fade in.

B.@.D is sitting in front of a TV in a small room in the back of a restaurant, watching intently. *

Reporter: Recapping today’s story, Stephen Harper was assassinated in his office at the Capital Building in Ottawa at the hands of a sniper. President Bush has claimed responsibility and declared war on the nation of Canada as a result of his accusation that the Canadian government faked the death of B.@.D several months ago.

* B.@.D swallowed hard and hung his head. Harper had not known that Tate and the B.@.Dcrew had faked his death. He did not know how G.g.B had found out that he was alive, and he knew that Harper had very little choice in agreeing to hand B.@.D over to The U.S. in the first place, but now it seemed that all of that had been for nothing. And no matter how he looked at it, the fact was that Harper had died innocent of what he was killed for. *

Reporter: United States soldiers are already infiltrating and taking over Canada. Because of the incredibly low size of the Canadian military, they we’re overrun almost immediately.

And continuing on with today’s events, G.g.B has just released another statement that not only does he know that B.@.D is alive, he is also accusing that B.@.D is currently in business with world renowned mobster Tony Ekobruzzi, don of the crime family syndicate of the same name.

* B.@.D drew back in shock from the TV. How could anyone possibly know of his association with Ekobruzzi?

When he had first come to Greece after the events that led to his “death”, B.@.D had originally enlisted Ekobruzzi’s help to use his mob connections to help B.@.D disappear. But he quickly found out that there was a lot more to the man on the World’s Most Wanted List.

When B.@.D had been in church one night, he was surprised to see Ekobruzzi there. Ekobruzzi, in turn, had been surprised to see B.@.D there as well. As he got to know him, he became more aware that Ekobruzzi was in fact, like B.@.D, a born-again Christian. And he was undergoing an effort to slowly turn his crime syndicate into a force for good in a world with so much evil.

It was a long process. Old habits die hard, especially in the mafia. But B.@.D had stayed with Ekobruzzi since that night and had helped him with his effort as best he could. But now it seemed that was over.

An innocent man, the Prime Minister, had now been murdered. Canada had now been invaded. All because his death had been faked.

B.@.D put his head into his hands. This was the reason he had wanted it all to end… so that this madness that he had now been living for over a year and a half would end, and no more lives would fall on his conscience.

B.@.D turned around as someone walked through the door. It was Tony Ekobruzzi, followed by one of his henchmen.

Ekobruzzi took off his sunglasses, and looked at B.@.D. *

Ekobruzzi: Hey, uh… I’m sorry.

… me too.

Ekobruzzi: We’re gonna get you and everybody else out of this country safely. Philly, what’s the plan?

Philly: We’ve got a container ship down at the navy yard, the captain’s one of ours. He’s got a stateroom listed as a cargo hold on the manifest. You and your family will be on it when it sets sail first thing tomorrow. Six days from now, Tony, you’ll all be in Sardiania.

Ekobruzzi: We’ve got it all covered, then. Do you have B.@.D’s new documents?

* Philly handed a bunch of papers over to B.@.D. *
Ekobruzzi: Your new passport, identity, social insurance number, drivers license, your birth certificate, and your death certificate.

* B.@.D raised an eyebrow at Ekobruzzi. *
Ekobruzzi: … just hold on to THAT one in your safe deposit box.

I appreciate this, Tony… but I’m not going.

* Ekobruzzi laughed, then looked sternly at B.@.D. *

Ekobruzzi: What… you’re serious?

Yeah.

Ekobruzzi: Hey, you are a part of this family now. No one gets left behind. You have done more to help me in the past few months and there is no way I’m gonna…

Tony, what you’ve done with the mob has been your doing, not mine. You guys have been trying to turn this family around, but no one’s going to know the truth about that if you’re all killed and hunted down like animals. They know I’m still alive, so that’s more likely to happen now that I’ve been associated with you. Get your families and get out of Greece. I’ll find my own way.

Ekobruzzi: … no way to change your mind?

* B.@.D shook his head. Ekobruzzi walked over to him and shook his hand. *

Ekobruzzi: God Bless You, B.@.D... thank you for everything.

Thank you, Tony. God Bless you too, man.

* Ekobruzzi took one more look at B.@.D and walked out of the room, and B.@.D stared after him. He hoped that Ekobruzzi would indeed continue his quest to turn his life and the mob around.

He was about to leave the room as he turned back to the TV… *

Reporter: We have just received word that U.S. troops are now closing in on the location of the “Candy Store”, the new base where B.@.D and his friends reportedly moved after the B.@.Dcave was destroyed by a suicide bomber earlier this year. Reports suggest that the B.@.Dcrew is still operating out of this base, but it is unknown whether or not B.@.D himself is in there!

* B.@.D drew back again. More of his friends we’re in danger, still because of him, even though he had completely removed himself from that life.

It seemed there was nothing he could do. Everything he cared about and anyone who cared about him was in danger. Just like his being here in Greece had put these innocent people and their families, who had taken him in at risk, just like in his old life where he did the same to his friends in the B.@.Dcrew… he should have learned his lesson. He vowed that this would not happen again.

Wherever he was going to go, he was going to go alone. But where?

MEANWHILE…
CALGARY, CANADA

* Fade into The Candy Store. Mizzle is still watching the TV report, Katastrophe is hanging up her cell phone. *

Ozi-Style says B-Rush isn’t answering his cell.

Reporter: … regardless, President Bush has said that The Candy Store will be taken down and those responsible for aiding and abetting B.@.D will be brought to justice, whether he is inside or not…

… it doesn’t matter now. We have to get out of here.

Where are we going to go?

We’re gonna go to Afghanistan to meet up with B-Rush and Ozi-Style. We’ll see what Lookalike had to say, and then… then I dunno. Get your shit, I’ll meet you at the B.@.Dship.
* Mizzle turned and started to walk out of the room. *

... Mizzle, what about what they said about B.@.D?

… I don’t know. I don’t believe it’s true, but we haven’t been able to talk to him since he left. And we don’t even know where he is. At this point, I don’t know what to do other than hope he’s OK.

… right.

* Mizzle and Katastrophe both paused and looked up as both heard the noise of helicopters circling the base. *

… oh, SHIT!!!

Looks like we won’t have time to pack. GO!!!

* Fade out to both of them making a run for the B.@.Dship. *


MEANWHILE…
AFGHANISTAN

* Fade into B-Rush sitting down in a chair across from Lookalike, who sat behind a table. The rest of O.s.H’s men we’re all still in the room. *

So what’s this about?

Lookalike: This is about me trying to help the B.@.Dcrew. With what I know you’re trying to prevent.

… when B.@.D visited Yochanan earlier this year, Yochanan seemed to think that G.g.B and O.s.H are trying to end the world.

Lookalike: It appears that this “Yochanan” was correct. Half correct, anyways.

How do you know this?

Lookalike: Weeks ago, we sent a spy to infiltrate O.s.H’s terrorist group. He infiltrated his way to the very top of the organization, and what he found out was not only that this was the plan, but how G.g.B plans to execute this plan.

Why? Why try to end the world?

Lookalike: Good question. That, I don’t know.

... what did you mean when you said half correct?

Lookalike: G.g.B is trying to end the world. O.s.H... what he wants, well... that's a mystery.

We assumed they we're both trying to destroy the world since they're both... demons, or whatever. Your undercover guy didn't find out what O.s.H has to do with all this?

Lookalike: All he got was that O.s.H knows exactly what G.g.B plans to do. What O.s.H is planning to do about it, if anything... either he hasn't told anyone... or he doesn't know.

Why couldn’t we just bring the entire crew down for this?

Looklike: Because in the last several weeks, we have survived six separate attempts on our lives. Bringing the entire B.@.Dcrew down would attract too much attention.

… OK. So what’s this doomsday plan then?

Lookalike: All I can tell you is that the plan involves nuclear bombs. G.g.B will try to destroy the Earth with nuclear bombs.

But he’d be killed as well.

Lookalike: No. He will try to escape through some kind of void.

... a void?

Lookalike: Yes, all we know is that it is somewhere in space above the Earth. It will appear just before they try to set off their plan. When the void appears, that is when G.g.B will go into action… to execute his plan to end the world.

… holy shit…

Lookalike: … I know. All of this is the truth, I swear on my children. We heard it from our operative himself. I have not told anyone else because if the world finds out, chaos will ensue.

… wow. All right. So when is this supposed to happen?

Lookalike: The undercover operative knows only that G.g.B will execute his plan when the void opens... so it could be any…

* B-Rush heard something drop to the floor, and looked behind him. He saw one of O.s.H’s men run out of the room. The rest of the men stood there, looking confused. *

* To the rest of his men. *
Lookalike: … where did Mikhail go?

* B-Rush had a sinking feeling. He looked around the room to where he had heard something drop and saw…

His eyes went wide. *

BOMB!!!

* He dove through the nearest window before he heard the deafening sound of an explosion engulfing the hut and tearing it apart.

He hit the ground hard, and got up, dazed.

Lookalike and his men we’re dead. All of them. *

DAMMIT!!!

* B-Rush hung his head to the ground and looked into the distance.

Despite his aching body and the panic he felt, B-Rush dusted himself off and got up. He reached out for his radio and sighed, realizing the magnitude of what Lookalike had told him, especially since he apparently had no way of knowing WHEN this was supposed to happen... *
