Fade Out - Part 1

* BEGIN SCENE *



SARDINIA, ITALY
* Fade into the living room of Ekobruzzi’s house.

Mizzle, B-Rush, and Ekobruzzi are watching the TV. *

REPORTER: … this just in, a mysterious Void has just appeared slightly above the atmosphere of the Earth! This has caused widespread confusion and speculation. Since 5 months ago, when the United States invaded Canada and the subsequent wars started throughout the world as a result, the world is already in a state of complete chaos. No one knows what this “Void” is but scientists are already speculating…

* The 4 looked at each other. *

… this is it. Lookalike said that the Void opening would be the catalyst to G.g.B’s plan to destroy the earth with nukes.

EKOBRUZZI: It’s been months. Why now?

All right… we’ve been waiting for this. We need to…

REPORTER: … and President Bush has prepared a statement! We now go live to the floor of the White House!

* They all stare at the TV. *
… my fellow Americans. A mysterious void has opened just above the Earth. My staff and I will be going to investigate. We will be leaving in the new Air Force Zero ship within the hour. We will get to the bottom of this and ensure the world’s safety once again…

… what does this Void have to do with this plan? What is he going up there for?

EKOBRUZZI: I’ll get in touch with some of my contacts and see where there are any large cache’s of nukes.
* Hurries off. *

We need to get Katastrophe and the others on the phone.

* Fade out. *



LOERIE, SOUTH AFRICA

* Fade into the inside of a hut. Katastrophe is hanging up the phone. She turns to OziStyle and Tate. *

… it’s time.

TATE: It was the Void then, as Lookalike told B-Rush?

* Katastrophe nodded. *

So what’s the plan?

Mizzle, B-Rush and Ekobruzzi are going to take Ekobruzzi’s ship, The Phoenix, after the nukes. Ekobruzzi’s contacts are narrowing down the location.

And us?

… we’re going after G.g.B in the B.@.Dship. It’s time to end this. Before he ends everything else. We’re stopping him… no matter what it takes.

* Ozi-Style nodded. *
It’s about time. We’ve been in hiding in Africa ever since Canada was invaded.

TATE: … there’s one thing that’s not included in this plan.

* They looked at him. *
TATE: O.s.H.

… he hasn’t been heard from since he killed B.@.D...

He’s been in hiding. So?

TATE: So as I understand it, your friend B-Rush was told by Lookalike before he died that he did not know what O.s.H had to do with this plan, but that he DID have SOMETHING to do with it.

We don’t know where he is. What can we do?

* Tate simply stared at her. *

… I get what you’re saying. But we don’t have time to figure that out right now. Wherever he’s been, whatever he’s doing, his time will come.

He’ll pay for what he did to B.@.D and Lookalike, just like G.g.B will pay for what he did to Harper, OK?

* Tate paused… then nodded. *

Let’s go.

* The 3 of them gathered up their things before heading to the B.@.Dship.

Fade out. *



THE PHOENIX

* Fade into Mizzle and B-Rush stepping onto the bridge of the Phoenix. Mizzle looked at Ekobruzzi. *

Get a location on the nukes?

EKOBRUZZI: Some contacts of mine confirm that the largest cache of nukes in the United States is in Los Angeles. To our knowledge that’s the only cache large enough that could possibly destroy the Earth.

Do we know for sure that’s the one?

EKOBRUZZI: My contacts confirm a lot of activity there within the last few hours.

All right. We all set?

* One of Ekobruzzi’s men turned to face him. *
PHILLY: Sir, there’s a transmission coming in. It’s from the B.@.Dship.

EKOBRUZZI: On screen.

* The screen lit up with the faces of Katastrophe, Ozi-Style, and Tate on the bridge of the B.@.Dship. *

Hey, boys.

Katastrophe. You guys set?

Sure are. Did you get a location on the nukes?

Los Angeles. Did you get a fix on where G.g.B is headed?

TATE: Reports indicate his ship is headed straight to the Void.

We’re headed after him now.

We’re on our way to Los Angeles now, too. We’ll stay in contact with each others’ progress as long as possible. Both teams need to get done what they need to get done.

* Everyone looked at each other… *
So… I guess one way or another, this is probably it…

… I guess.

TATE: Two ships, two directions. Sounds like providence to me.

… well, I guess there’s not much left to say except good luck, is there?

EKOBRUZZI: To all of us. And Godspeed.

One more thing…

* Everyone turned to Mizzle. *
… even though he’s not here, he left us a window of opportunity. He gave us a fighting chance at this. He gave us this chance to save the world.

* Everyone looked their own directions, everyone knowing who Mizzle was talking about. *

And I know we all wish he could be here. I know what he meant to everyone here. But he died for this because he believed in this. Everything these last 2 years… he believed it was for a purpose. He believed in it when he faked his death went on the run. And he believed it up until the moment he died.

* Everyone smiled at Mizzle and nodded. *
So let’s finish what he started. Let’s finish it.

EKOBRUZZI: … for B.@.D.

* Looking at Mizzle, B-Rush, and Ekobruzzi… *

* The 3 of them looked directly back at Katastrophe, Ozi-Style, and Tate... *

* The viewscreen went dark.

O.s.H’s SHIP - THE BORETH
* Fade into a small, dark cell on the ship of O.s.H

In the middle of the cell, B.@.D, disheveled with long hair and a beard after months of imprisonment, looks up slowly, painfully, as the door opens…

… and O.s.H steps into the room, surrounded by three of his guards. He smiles as he looks at B.@.D. *

… it’s time.

Time for what?

* O.s.H just smiled as his eyes glowed orange. Even after all the time he had to spend around this man, being tortured, those glowing eyes still did not frighten him any less. *
... the guards will take you to a room. There is a shower. A razor. Clean clothes. Clean yourself up. Then my men will take you to the bridge to meet me.

* B.@.D just stared at O.s.H. The demon did not take his eyes off him. B.@.D had no idea what he was talking about. *
… what for?

The end is here, B.@.D.

* B.@.D’s heart sped up a little bit. *
… what about him?

* He motioned over to Yochanan, still sitting in the corner alone. In the months that B.@.D had been held captive, Yochanan still had not said anything other than the ramblings he had uttered when B.@.D had first been thrown into the cell…

… the ones about P.c.P still being alive. *

* O.s.H looked over at Yochanan… his eyes narrowed. *
… he will be joining us on the bridge as well.

* B.@.D felt uneasy as the guards pulled him to his feet and out of the room past O.s.H, O.s.H not taking his eyes off him the entire time. As he was rushed down the hallway, he heard the noises of them rushing the insane Yochanan to his feet as well.
