POST-B.a.Dops: S5 Epilogue

On behalf of the staff here at B.a.D LiveJournal, P.c.P would like to wish all the readers who enjoyed S5 the best of luck in their future endeavors.

S5 may have been the best yet... if, for no other reason, the addition of Mizzle. I love having someone to add variety and that I'm able to play off of. So this seems as good a time as any to announce the addition of a new player who will debut her first post soon. Her name is Katastrophe. She'll be posting in red.

I have no idea when another season will start, but I may be done with the whole "season" thing. Now that I've got Mizzle and Katastrophe's help with posting, I don't need to worry about posting as much, so I don't get burned out on writing, so there's not much of a need for breaks if I only post every once in a while.

But who knows. I'm not going to stop posting, but I am going to take a little vacation from this, I'm thinking two weeks to a month at the most. Mizzle will still be around, and hopefully Katastrophe fits into our mix and enjoys writing for the site.

However... I retain literary rights to P.c.P, Mrs. P.c.P, Baby P.c.P, and any P.c.P character that may eminate therefrom.

But I will be back. 'Till then, thanks for reading, and to all my friends and fans of the site, thanks for the support over the last few months, and thanks to everyone who has liked and complimented the site. We really appreciate it and it means a lot. Also thanks to the haters who give us ammunition. Blogspot tells me I still have one of the 100 most popular blogs on their service, and it still amazes me how popular this thing is, and how many people read it.

You guys rule.

* Begin Scene *


* On the way back from the B.a.DOp, the helicopter lands on the roof of the B.a.Dcave. The three friends step off the plane and before heading inside, they stand on the roof and stare at the night sky. *

So... what do we do now?

Our Wal-Mart informant that gave us the inside info on the company is still inside... she says she wants to join us. B.a.D?

Sounds good to me. She's a good friend, we can trust her.

How do you know?

She's that friend who waxed my...

*covers ears* LALALALALA!!!

Uh... waxed my ches...

* ears still covered* Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh CaaaaaaaaaaanadAAAAAAAAAA!

... maybe I'll just leave it that we can trust her.

Should we go school her?

I've got a plan. Let's take her and go get fucked up first.

That's the first thing you've said... ever... that actually makes sense to me. Let's go.

* Mizzle and P.c.P turn around and head inside. B.a.D stays where he is, still staring out into the night sky.

Faced on the edge of a precepise again, B.a.D thought over the season. And unlike the end of last season, he did not wonder this time weather he would be back for another. After a short rest, he knew he would. In the meantime, his friends would take care of the following.

He then thought over the last few months of his life. They had not been easy... change never was. But looking at his life now, he realized that he was happy. As much as he had thought about it and gone over it in his mind and wondered if he had made the right decision, he realied now that it boiled down to one simple thing... he had needed a change. It was time to move on. And he had done that. He had no regrets... not one. There we're things he missed, of course. And the future was anything but certain, but he knew that he was better off now and that life was good. Great. Like always.

He reached down the front of his shirt and took out his dog tags. A gift from someone very special to him. One tag read his given name. The other one read "B.a.D".

He squeezed the dog tags, smiled, and put them back down his shirt. He smiled at the night sky one more time, and was about to turn around when he heard a noise that brought back a memory that he could not exactly recall, but it seemed like it was from a very long time ago.

A dog howling in the distance. And for reasons he didn't understand, he couldn't help but smile.

"Keep your head up, brother." He said to no one but himself.

Then B.a.D took one last look at the night sky... and headed back into the B.a.Dcave. *
