Deja View - Part 2

* BEGIN SCENE *

THE VOID

* Fade into a cargo bay. The door is opening to G.g.B’s Air Force Zero ship. There are soldiers all over the bay.

G.g.B is walking aboard the ship. The Architect is standing behind him. *

ARCHITECT: The Void is a gateway to other universes. Right now, the Void is set to take you and your ship back to Earth on December 26th, 2007. The day the world ended. All you have to do is fly the ship back outside the Void. You need to take the ship to the silo where Mizzle and B-Rush will stop the bombs that you activated before you took your ship to come here. You need to seal them out of the room and re-start them.

Just like before.

ARCHITECT: Exactly.

… then what happens?

ARCHITECT: Then the world is destroyed and the cycle is complete.

Yes, but I meant… to me…

ARCHITECT: You will take your ship to the other side of the Earth from where the Void is. You will hide there until all the ships enter the Void just like before. Then we will reset the instruments, and the Void will transport you back to THIS time, as opposed to the time that all the other ships entered. Then you will enter after all has happened as before, and you will come back here.

… I understand.

ARCHITECT: Remember that you are going back in time. There is another G.g.B down there, and another Air Force Zero ship down there as well. You cannot interact with anything. Do nothing other than re-starting those bombs.

* G.g.B looked unsure. *
Yes, Architect.

* Placing a hand on his shoulder. *
ARCHITECT: … you have done well, G.g.B. This is the last task.

* G.g.B nodded and took one last look at Architect as he closed the door to Air Force Zero…

He looked over at one of the guards. *
ARCHITECT: Activate the Void. Set it to September 24th… the day the world ended. Set it to just before the bombs exploded… he can go back an re-activate them after the B.@.Dcrew de-activated them.

* The solder tapped some controls and a massive instrument lifted up a spaceship size apparatus up into the air of the cargo bay…

G.g.B nodded at Architect and hovered the ship toward the Void.

Architect sighed. It was almost over. But this time, for good.

Fade out. *

* Fade into the corridor of the Void. The B.@.Dcrew and P.c.P we’re running down the hall to the cargo bay. *

… so how are we going to do this?

Architect will be sending G.g.B back, presumably in the Air Force Zero ship in one of the bay’s. We are going to the bay where the B.@.Dship is being held. We will send you back around the same time.

And we stop G.g.B from getting to the bombs to re-start them…

… no. G.g.B needs to go back and re-start the bombs, as before, or none of you will enter the Void. Things need to happen as before, as I said. AFTER he re-starts them, you need to de-activate the nuclear chips in the bombs. So they will explode and it will look as it did before, and the ships will still enter the Void as they did before.

How do we do that?

You will fly the B.@.Dship to the silo where the nukes we’re. You will wait until he confronts Mizzle and B-Rush in the past. Then B.@.D will confront G.g.B and finish this.

* Everyone looked at B.@.D. B.@.D simply looked at P.c.P and nodded. *

Then what?

Then you will come back into the Void, after the other ships. I will set it so that it will return you here, not the same time the other ships entered. Then we will return you back in to the Earth world… assuming this works… a few days later… with your friends Tate, Ekobruzzi, and Yochanan… when everything has clamed down. If you stay, people will obviously have questions about what happened. I think you would all agree if it was not the B.@.Dcrew being the only ones there when the Void disappears.

Disappears?

The Void will disappear after my superiors realize that the Architect has failed. They will remove him from the Earth project, and your race will continue on un-interrupted.

* The crew looked at each other. *

Questions?

* They all looked back at him. *
… let’s go.

* The crew followed P.c.P into the cargo bay.

Fade out. *

* Fade into the Cargo Bay with the Air Force Zero ship in it.

The Architect watched the Air Force Zero ship leave the bay through the gate that led him through the Void.

Architect smiled. It was all going to plan. *

ARCHITECT: Did it work? Is he back?

OPERATOR: Yes, sir. I set our instruments to configure the Void to send him back 3 hours before the bombs went off.

ARCHITECT: Excellent. Now we…

OPERATOR: Sir… the Void has been activated from another bay.

* Architect snapped his head back. *
ARCHITECT: … what? Which bay???

* The operator looked back at him with a nervous look. Architect had a sinking feeling. And he knew the answer before his subordinate even opened his mouth. He tapped a communications outlet for the Void facility. *

ARCHITECT: Security to the bay housing the B.@.Dship... NOW!!!

* Fade out. *

* Fade into the cargo bay with the B.@.Dship. P.c.P is at the cargo bay controls. The crew is about to board the ship. *

You have to hurry… they know we’re here. They will be here soon.

Well, let’s get going then. Get in.

* P.c.P simply stood and stared at the B.@.Dcrew... *

… you’re not coming?

… no.

Why not?

Someone needs to appeal to the committee once you cause Architect’s plan to fail.

What are you going to do once Architect gets here?

I will be able to handle Architect.

… how?

Trust me. I have a plan. I’ve already put it into motion.

* B.@.D simply stared at P.c.P… *

… there is no way we’re leaving until you tell us…

* An alarm sounded. *

You have to go. They’re almost here. The Void is set to return you just after G.g.B returned… follow him and stop those bombs. I will handle the rest.

* B.@.D stared back at him... unsure of whether or not to trust him despite an overwhelming feeling that he could... *
… all right, let’s go.

* The crew started to enter the ship. Mizzle paused. *
… what happens if we don’t succeed?

* P.c.P stared directly back at him. *
… you must succeed.

* The crew stared at each other as they boarded the ship. The Void powered up, and the ship lifted…

… as the ship lifted, Architect and some of his soldiers burst into the cargo bay. Architect ran over to P.c.P and pushed him away from the controls…

… but it was too late. The ship disappeared into the Void.

Architect slammed his fists into the controls. He turned around and grabbed P.c.P. *

ARCHITECT: WHERE DID THEY GO?!?!?!

I think you know.

ARCHITECT: … right after G.g.B went in. WHY?!?!?! Why did you bother??? I am just going to find another way.

You may not have time. Once the committee learns that you have multiple breaches to your little plan's timeline...

ARCHITECT: What do you mean multiple…?

* P.c.P simply smiled. Architect looked down at the controls… to see a light blinking.

He tapped the controls to see what the blinking light meant… *

ARCHITECT: … no…

* He turned to P.c.P, burning with rage… *
ARCHITECT: … what have you done…?

* Fade out. *

* Fade into the outside of O.s.H’s cell…

The door was open. O.s.H was standing outside…

… before he walked down the hallway cautiously…

He was not sure what he had to do… but he felt like he knew what direction to go…

He heard commotion from a cargo bay but felt as though he should not go there…

… but he looked down at ANOTHER cargo bay and felt as though he SHOULD go there…

He was not sure what was guiding him. Perhaps P.c.P was subliminally telling him that he was going to be allowed to go after all? After all, that was how he had communicated up to this point… and this felt no different…

… but this time… he would not allow P.c.P to deceive him. No matter what.

He walked into the other cargo bay, and saw that it was deserted. His eyes went wide…

… he saw the Void again… the same Void that had brought him here…

He looked at the controls on the dashboard of the cargo bay control panel… *

December 16th, 2005…

* … almost 2 years ago. O.s.H smiled.

He knew that this was where he must go.

He saw no ships in the bay, so he simply walked to the Void… and entered it.

Fade out. *
