Break from the vacation

Wow, so it's been... almost a month, hey? Damn... well, I said I'd post on the odd occasion, and I assume you've all been behaving yourselves, and I've been feeling charitable. That and I can't sleep.

Was supposed to go to hook up with a couple friends I haven't seen in a while, but those plans fell through the cracks, then was supposed to hit an O.C. Finale party that subsequently got cancelled due to the thrower of the party getting sick. Not that I watch The O.C. That s*it's for girls, right Big Sexy?

So after all that, I figured it wasn't meant to be and decided to stay in. I been out every night this week, and it's catching up with me. Monday was lunch with the Kliq, then hanging out and fingerbanging some online tests with Matt. Tuesday was Brittaney's birthday party. And last night I worked. So tonight was spent at home for a Risk game with Dad (updated score: 6-3 for me), and watching the O.C. Finale with Heather.

So yeah, it's been busy, especially this week. Plus I got classes now. My Busiess Policy course is a useless jumble of jargon taught by a confused old British man. Attenance not manditory. Failing is not an option, it's impossible.

My correspondance Business Law course is glorious. Copy the notes from WebCT, grab the text, and myself, Matt & Jenn hammer out the tests in a team of 3 with texts and notes beside us. Completely idiot-proof. Hoa may be joining us, so that's fortunate. Totally worth the extra $400.

Lunch with the Kliq was nice, reminded me of old times. S1 old times. James couldn't join us, so that was unfortuante, but otherwise great.

Brittaney's birthday was sweet. Poor little girl, got slammed with a drink in front of her every time she turned around. And she's like me, from our rich little white suburbia Sundance community. First time in a bar. Yeeeeeeeah. Much love to Nikki for dropping by to join the festivities. I felt bad because I left about 40 minutes after she showed up, so I had to apologize for that, but the birthday girl needed a car to almost-hurl in on the way home.

Lost a hubcap on the way to pick up Vivi, too. Word. Haven't even replaced it yet, it's in my backseat. But I'm hardcore! Either that or I don't have any coverage from AMA left, certainly not both.

Oh, and before I get off the Brittaney topic, just want to say congraulations to her and Rae for graduating. You damn kids make me feel old. You all rock though, so yeah. Much. Kids. Love. I digress.

The John Cena CD is not bad, although it will mostly likely get buried by people who blackball it just 'cause he's a wrestler. Not the greatest CD in the world, but above average to be sure.

Arrested Development gets a 3rd season, so that made me quite happy. It's definately my favourite show, I suggest you all try it if you haven't listened to my advice before. Season 1 is awesome, go watch it before Season 2 comes out. Then get Season 2 and watch it before Season 3 starts. You won't regret it... it seriously is awesome and hilarious.

Been watching reruns of "Average Joe" while I try to fall asleep at night. It's pretty sweet, watching these fat abrasive nerds get voted off, then call the girl shallow even though they're the ones trying to hook up with the supermodel.

Kacey & I are stuck on this one part of Resident Evil 4. I'd be pissed by now normally, but the scene is something right out of Dawn Of The Dead. Zombies breaking in the house, me trying to kill them faster than they can get to me alongside some Euro-trash while trying to make sure the zombies don't eat my brain, or the President's daughter who is hiding in a closet. It's glorious. Crazy scene I tell you... Kacey loves it. She gets worked up. She screams. At the zombies. Gotta love her.

Things have been so over-the-top tremendous for me in my office, I really can't say enough about how much I love it there. There's an opportunity for a temp summer job with lots of hours at South Trail with something I know I'd be good at, but I dunno if I'm willing to leave my office down a person for the summer or not. They could replace me, but it wouldn't help because by the time they got trained, I'd be coming back. So I don't know yet... they took a chance on brining me in, against a lot of people's advice. They did right by me, and there's not a person in there I don't like working with. Even the one who's out of her mind. (I'm not even gonna tell you who, so zing.)

But so few people at Co-op are this good... so that's why I gotta do this right. So I'll talk to my bosses about it and feel out the situation... it'll work out one way or the other. It always does.

I'm out of here, and like I said last time, the regular season won't start again until September, so unless I feel charitable again, see ya in 3 months!!!
