Break #2: My Sister Is A Moron

Hey, all.

Stop complaining about Michael Jackson getting off. He would have done a Martha Stewart-ish sentance anyways. One tenth what a normal person would do if convicted. Gotta love the way celebrities are treated in the justice system.

So a couple new additions to the site... I have a "News" section on the top right section of the site now. News about the site and myself will go there. And at the bottom, a Risk 2210 AD scoreboard. We decided to play our games in series' of 10, so I won the last series. The second series is underway. I've lost the first 3 games, so that's unfortunate.

Also, ECW One Night Stand ruled. Best show since I've seen in I-don't-know-when. Props to WWE for staying true to the ECW name and not watering it down. Pics are posted below.

On to your wisdom for the month.I have a sister, and in the interests of confidentiality, let's call her H. Douglas. No wait, that's too obvious... let's say Heather D.

This is a girl that watches the same types of movies with the same storylines over and over again. I'm not even sure how she tells them apart.Movies where tough girl surfers fall for sensetive boy surfers and has trouble "letting them in" emotionally. Movies where an American girl travels to Europe and falls in love with a British punk rocker that her parents don't like, and his parents don't approve of her either. Rich girl falls in love with poor guy, again her parents don't approve, plus the poor guy has to compete with a rich guy who also wants the rich girl. Movies where a girl wants to sing or dance or skate or surf but thinks she can't, then meets a boy who tells her she can. And, guess what? The parents don't approve.

In case you're watching one of these movies, let me go ahead and spoil it for you. A guy and a girl always end up together, the girl will always choose the poor guy, the parents always become fine with it, and the girl is always able to sing/dance/skate/surf because apparently she needs men to build up her self-confidence. Stupid attention-seeking whores. Just buy the bitch a mirror.

She's also addicted to WB & TLC shows. F*ck. Don't get me started. Can anyone even tell the difference in the shows on both networks? Not a sausage's chance at a barbeque, pal. And I hate to burst the bubble of anyone who watches TLC, but if my girlfriend said she had something to tell me and I had a TLC camera 2 inches from my face, I'd know that she we're either pregnant, proposing, about to get a makeover, about to give me a makeover, or about to renovate my house. So, I really would not be surprised. Which means that those people you're watching are acting. Therefore, that's not reality TV.And let's face it; anyone who thinks that anything on WB is different or new is a f*cking stone's toss away from being legally retarded.

This is the kind of crap she watches. Occasionally though, I am able to break through the cobwebs in her brain and get her to try something different. Ask me how easy it was to get her to try 24. I suggested watching the box sets I bought whenever she ran on the treadmill. After much coaxing, she tried it, and within a week, she had watched the entire first season and started the second. That's over 24 episodes in a week. She's currently on the third. I haven't even gotten that far yet. And since you're going to ask, no, most of it was not watched on the treadmill. That's a whole lotta treadmilling.

So in conclusion, I am better than her.

Oh, and since someone is obviously going to rebuttal with a shot at wrestling, I'm just going to state ahead of time that wrestling is not always good. However, you've got a cast of characters of about 100 (and that's just for WWE), all characters and storylines are different (most of the time), there's athletecism involved, and there's not always happy endings. Happy endings don't piss me off or anything, but when I see one every time I watch a movie, it gets a little stale when you can figure the outcome 5 minutes into the movie.

Word.

Oh, and before I finish with this TV topic, I'm sick of hearing that the Friends spinoff is making Matt LeBlanc look stupid. Matt LeBlanc is making Matt LeBlanc look stupid. LeBlanc, regardless of how smart he may or may not be in real life, is incapbable of playing anything but a dumbass.

And while we're at it, when was the last time you saw that painted-up crack-monkey Matt Perry play something other than a sarcastic bumblef*ck? Or Lisa Kudrow play something other than a ditz I want to slap?

Speaking of Kudrow, was anyone else forced to sit through "Romy & Michelle" on a flight? God Almighty. I'm sure not getting that 2 hours of my life back.
