Work Work Work

Well Indy is pretty fun. I've had to work 2 hours so far out of the 2 days I've been here... but don't tell anyone.

My hotel is the Conrad... it's friggen sweet. I have a 42" Plazma at the foot of my bed, and a 15" Plazma in my "restroom" (Silly Americans, they have no clue if you say "Washroom" or "Bathroom" both of which you can do in that room. But if you say "Restroom" they know exactly what you mean... I don't think I ever rested in there... except that one night after a lot of drinking... but that was one night! It's like the 3 seashells from that movie... I think it was TimeCop. Could be wrong...)

So while I had some spare time I decided to go into the RCA Dome which is part of the convention center I'm at. How many of you can say you stood smack dab in the center of the field the Colts play on? That's right, only a few of you.

I must have some sign that floats over my head saying "Charity" every city I've been in, I've had someone come and ask me for money and they always have a loaded story that makes it akward for you to walk away during.

Sad really.

Breakfast this morning... was $38.00 for the guy I work with and me. I think I ate about .50 cents worth of macaroni because it was the only thing in the "buffet" that in any way resembled food.

At least tonight I get to go back to the local watering hole to watch the hockey games. Yes, they put the hockey games on one of their tv's just for me the crazy canuck. Each waiter and waitress stops by to ask "who's your team?" I wonder if I made one up if they'd just nod and smile like they do when I give them the real answer.

Well I better run, I have work to do *rolls eyes*

KAT is working her hardest at a post and I'm being as boring as possible forcing B.a.D to come back to save this live journal from collapsing on itself.

*Update* I bought a 1 lb bag of skittles yesterday... I didn't know they existed.

* Update* Someone must have heard me talking about needing B.a.D to come back... I was playing Monopoly yesterday, and look at the Community Chest Card I pulled!
