There is nothing more amusing to me than someone who reads my stuff, and therefore thinks that they know me.

bad will be fine guys. you see, he has a sense to exaggerate. he probably just had a bad week. thats not saying he just lies, its saying that you just have to not read it all so seriously. its like when he says hed date jessica simpson. he wouldnt. hed sleep with her, thats probably about it. its all in how you read it.

I’d just sleep with her? I wouldn’t actually want to date her?

Let me tell you something about me and Jessica Simpson, brother.

I’d hold her hand and take her to the Soda Shoppe. I’d court her over a period of months, and then secretly ask her father for her hand in marriage. No doubt, his consent would be granted. I’d whisk her away on a Valentine’s weekend to Paris. We’d stroll the sunny banks of the Seine and just in the shadow of Notre Dame Cathedral and I’d bend down on one knee and offer her my proposition as a single, solitary tear of joy rolled down her perfectly chiseled cheek. We’d be married in autumn (A fine autumn bride she’d make!) in a small chapel in upstate New York by a priest who is an old college room-mate of her fathers. The speeches would be rousing, humorous (but never vulgar) and every guest would leave with a smile on their face and a song in their heart. Then that evening, I would take her to our honeymoon suite, carry her delicately across the threshold, lay her on our matrimonial bed AND COMMIT SUCH ACTS OF UNSPEAKABLE INDECENCY WITH HER THAT WE’D BE ARRESTED IN AT LEAST TWENTY THREE COUNTRIES.

WE WILL VIOLATE EACH OTHER MIND, BODY AND SOUL IN WAYS NOT EVEN DREAMED UP BY THE MARQUIS DE SADE.

I swear it’d be like that orgy scene at the end of that horror movie Society. Limbs and goo everywhere… just EVERYWHERE man.

Glad that’s cleared up. Onto something else.

i could not believe they killed curtis on 24 so senselessly... he lived bad the last 5 minutes of his life and he ended up dying for it. bad choice, almost as bad as killing tony... i hope it improves or builds some characters iwthout killing them

Let's bust a myth here. Curtis was not a major character. Curtis did not have depth. Curtis was not vital to the series. Therefore, Curtis was expendable. That doesn't mean his death wasn't important, it was a major event.

Now, don't get me wrong. I LIKED Curtis. (Remember my mini-24 parody within the B.a.Dsaga a while back?) He was useful because he WAS another field guy like Jack, which was mentioned in another comment as to why he shouldn't have died. He ended up saving Jack's butt a number of times throughout a few seasons.

He had lived through the past 2 seasons and a little bit into this one. In 24 terms, yes, that is a long time. But how much of that was REALLY spent building character? On Day 4 there was something brought up around him sleeping with a co-worker who turned out to be dirty, after that he just sort of followed Jack around. During Day 5, he basically drove around and disappeared for hours at a time with no explanation, presumebly waiting for instructions from Jack.

And for the 4 hours he was alive during Day 6, he showed personality during the last hour. And he did the wrong thing and ended up getting killed for it... is that sad? Yes, it is. I was shocked to see it. I wouldn't have expected that. But THAT is what 24 is all about. And realistically, this was less about Curtis than it was about Jack. Jack has been out of a 2-year stay in a Chineese prison all of 4 hours and he was just forced to kill a friend of his before a nuclear bomb went off.

It's not like Tony, Michelle, or Palmer, either... those we're WAY more major characters than Curtis, and they we're way better friends with him than Curtis was and they had known him way longer. They we're more important. But what makes this one different and interesting was that Jack had to kill Curtis HIMSELF to stop him from killing a key witness.

It's like Bill Buchannon. Sure, I like the guy too, but he's been on the show exactly the same amount of time as Curtis, and not only does he have no character buildup, the guy has about as much charisma and personality as a bag of doorknobs. Do I want him to die? No. Do I think he will? Yes.

Alpha Dog is a REALLY tight movie, myself and Leah went to see that one last weekend. It's really quite good, JT had a nice acting debut and the rest of the cast was really solid as well.
