well... not much to say here - Maxim's not exactly the best judge of attractiveness. I never agree with their list at all - and actually nobody I know agrees with it. I mean c'mon, there's no way Lohan's hotter than Jessica Alba, or Scarlet Johannson - all three hotter than KD though ;) - It just doesn't work.

Does anybody have an xbox 360? Any of you ever try to download something from the marketplace that costs something called "Microsoft Points"? Seriously, WTF is Microsoft thinking? OK, I guess I know what they're thinking - Let's sell stuff online xbox - and charge "microsoft points - aka magic microsoft money", however we'll be clever and charge odd numbers - like 1200 points for something, and you can only buy these points in packs of 500 or 1000! so in order to get what you want - you have to buy BOTH packs of points (1000 + 500 = 1500 for those mathmatically challenged of us).
NOW the users who spend money on our consoles, games, live subscriptions, and accessories have an EXCESS amount of points (300). well, ok, they can still buy some stuff... wait... no you can't... you have to BUY MORE POINTS because the next thing you want isn't 300 points, it's 350/400 points!!!!!
It's a vicious circle (note to self: B-Rush must check out the renovated VC) that Microsoft has cleverly engineered to screw the user.

Well everyone, It's been awhile since I've really been spending any time out on the town, and this birthday thing has brought up an interesting point - I know of NO really cool places in Calgary to hang out - lounges, pubs, restaurant/lounge ideas....
So here's the B-Rush Fanclub assignment for the day - where's your FAVORITE place downtown Calgary to hang out and have a couple casual drinks with friends?

Ummm yes i know someone who has a 360 - my boyfriend. most of us were at SAIT (college) several years ago. You'd also know that we all work FULL TIME - so therefore we're OUT of college
therefore we'd have to be over 18 at least... if we went into college right after High School - we'd be 20 assuming we'd all taken a 2 year program.
FYI: I'm 22 - I won't let out the ages of everyone because that's not my place.

It's a relief to know that the morons don't come out JUST when myself or Mizzle are writing.
Not much could have broken me out of the start of my hiatus, but I had to welcome my buddy B-Rush here to the club of successful writers! You know you've made it when you get your first monkey. It might bug you, but hey, once you remember (or get reminded) that these people are taking the time to write and check comments of sites they aren't interested in anyways, you'll realize how much their opinion is worth to you.
Buddy, when you say "important issues", are you talking about politics? I wrote several of political view posts, but I don't continue with them most of the time because:
A) I didn't find it incredibly fun to write about, and why write about it for free if I'm not enjoying it?
B) Because I didn't have fun writing it, I don't feel like it turned out that good.
C) Everyone who had a different political opinion on what I wrote decided that they now had grounds to call me an idiot, and because they, again, are taking the time to comment on a site they don't like, I realized how much their opinion was worth to me, and that they weren't worth responding to.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, just like B-Rush and th rest of us are entitled to write about what they enjoy, just like everyone is entitled to reading what they enjoy. So if you don't like reading it, then why in the world ARE you, let alone commenting on it?
And because you're looking forward to it, for the record, Jessica Simpson will win every "which Jessica is hotter" every time. Also, that will be more fun to write about, and will get way more readers than anything you could come up with.
I also enjoy the fact that you make fun of us for watching things like Colbert and Stewart, which are highly regarded and well-known as some of the most highly-rated, intelligent comedic shows on late-night television.
What exactly is an "important issue" to you? And what makes you think that just because it's important to you, it should be important to everyone?
I think that's what they call bigotry on some continents. Including North America.
The thing you have to realize, "anonymous", is that we write about what we find interesting. Clearly, it works. Check out the counter.

I know it's a bit late, but here's my little piece in response to that commenter...
I work for the government. I spend my days sitting in meetings, composing proposals, writing invoices and requisitions, the last thing i want to do when i get home, or have a day off is think substantial thoughts about anything related to politics!
I am 24 years old in 13 more days ;o)

Yes i work in a museum - a GOVERNMENT run museum... i'm a Commercial Manager in the Arts, Museums and Libraries sector of state government - it hasn't got anything to do with people running for government, but believe me i deal with alot of policy and procedure...
