Summer Jam

So it's been about a month already into this little psuedo-website vacation of mine. I've been going out a LOT and having a LOT of fun, and sacrificing a LOT of sleep. But so much fun has had and is being had.

But in the space of a couple of days off where I have flat out refused to do anything related to school for the first time since January, I figured it was time for a little update. I'll give you some updates, some website stuff, some B.@.Dsaga news, my opinion on some TV finales, and whatever other assorted feces that has you little trolls continuing to tune into this site.

B.@.Dsaga News

It seems that everyone really enjoyed "Live Together, Die Alone" and I'm glad about that. Everyone seemed to like, or be confused at least, about the little twist. As I've mentioned, not that much is left. But rest assured, all questions will be answered, all loose ends tied up, and everything will have a definitive finality to it. This has been about 2 years in the making to end this, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm not giving out any spoilers here, but there has been some questions about how much of it is left. So here is the complete schedule for what's left:

Atonement
1 Part
July 1
(the trailer for this is on the sidebar, and will be there until the story hits)

All In (tenative title)
5 Parts
August 31 - Sept 4

Omega (tenative title)
5 Parts
December 27 - 31
(this will be the final B.@.Dsaga series)

"Atonement" is written, and "All In" is in progress, but it's slow. Usually about once a week for half an hour or so, is how they're written.

Website News

I've enjoyed the posts since the finale from Ozi-Style and B-Rush. I've officially moved Katastrophe and Mizzle to the "inactive" list by request of them. I wouldn't take them off the list, even if they're not writing, they're still a part of the B.@.Dsaga and a part of this site's history.

Plus, one or both of them might be patrolling the comment board incognito more often than you might think...

Season Finale's

All my favorites are officially off the tube except for Entourage, which is coming to a close fast, and most of them for a long time, so I thought I'd give a quick opinion of the best shows on TV. If you disagree with that statement or with anything here...

... you're wrong.

PRISON BREAK

I thought the end of Prison Break's second season was like the second season itself. And the first, in fact. This is the best show that there is on TV right now. With Michael back in Prison and Lincoln free, this sets up a great set of scenarios for the third season.

Michael is in prison again, a Panana prison no less, where things are a lot different. Mahone is in there with him, and they'll have to work together now in order to finish it off. Bellick is in there. T-Bag is even in there. They've all been screwed over by "The Company", but will they be able to work together? And why did that guy say they WANT Michael to break out again?

Lincoln is free and Sara is free, so you know they'll work from the outside to try to get him out. Sucre is also free and needs to get Bellick out to find out where Maricruz is. Maybe they'll get the only guy to have a happy ending surprisingly, C-Note, to help, if he would. I don't know.

I loved it. Just a genius show. I can't wait until next season.

LOST

I thought LOST's third season was the worst yet, but it was still damn good, and it was only slow because of a slow beginning and middle. But I guess that they had to build up to the ending of the season, which was great. Lots of questions were answered.

We know what happened to Dharma. We know what happened to Ben. We know that someone can find the island.

The series is officially half over now. Three seasons are left. Enough questions have been answered to hopefully keep the whiners satisfied.

But a lot of fun new questions are answered now. If that wasn't a boat Penny sent, then whose boat was it? I assume it's Dharma coming back since Ben and The Others killed off the rest of them except those in the hatch, but who knows. Why does Ben and seemingly Locke want people to stay on the island, what happens when they leave? Is it related to when we find out that the flashback is actually a flashforward, when Jack is screaming to Kate about how they "have to go back"? Why was Jack talking about his Dad if it WASN'T a flashback? His dad is supposed to be dead. Whose funeral was Jack at? How did Locke see Walt when he was in the hole? Walt is no longer on the island, he and his dad we're the only ones to get off so far.

And how did they get off the island? Was it Naomi's plane? I hope not, because they haven't found out that those people might not be rescuers after all.

Anyways, lots of questions and answers. A great show.

24

I was not a huge fan of this season, but the finale was great. The thing is, this show's officially been on for 6 years. I look at those as two 3-year arc's. A ton of crap happened, but the first three we're Jack working for CTU, at the end of the third season (best one) he got fired.

The 4th season started with him in a new job, and a situation demanded he help CTU out for a day to save the woman he loved. Then he had to fake his own death to escape Logan turning him in to the Chineese. The 5th season continued this storyline, having Jack return back to find out who killed President Palmer and his friends. Jack brought down the president, who was responsible, but his friends were dead and his daughter found out he was alive and hated him. He did reunite with Audrey, but not before the Chineese found out he was still alive and captured him and sent him to prison. The 6th season had Palmer's younger brother break Jack out of prison to help with the terrorist threat. The 6th season concluded all storylnes, told us about Jack's family, and resolved everything.

The end of this season where Jack confonted Heller was the best part. Many people thought the ending wasn't exciting enough. This was the only ending in 3 years that didn't have Jack's life turn to shambles, which NEEDED to happen for once. Now after those two arc's, Jack can try to get his life back.

I am looking really forward to the new season, to a new era in this show.

THE SHIELD

I loved this season, despite absense of Lem. A lot of people said that it went slowly and that Lem's murder wasn't resolved. There is only one season left, and the conclusion to the Shane-murdering-Lem story is probably the biggest event in the show's histroy, and it deserves to close out this show. Who knows how it'll all end though.

The scene where Shane FINALLY admitted to Vic that he had killed Lemonhead was amazing, and I loved that Vic's family showed up to support him at his hearing despite everything.
One of the best shows out there, just gritty and real.

AND FINALLY... B.@.D NEWS

I'm about to jump back into the real world after this little paid vacation experiment is almost over. Nothing is final yet, but I've got some really good-looking stuff on the table.

And I have been having the time of my life. I don't remember having this much fun in years. It felt good to get my confidence back. I didn't even realize how low it was.

If you want to know how low it was, someone ask Mizzle to tell the story about a restaurant, a girl I hit on that I really had no idea why I was hitting on, and an emberassing high-pitched voice that I'm ashamed to say escaped my mouth.

But I sure noticed it when I got it back. I've been all over the place having the time of my life. I haven't had a lot of chances to be single for more than a couple months over the last 4 years and 2 relationships, but I do now, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

I guess that's about it. I'll see everyone later. Hope everyone is doing as good as I am.
God Bless,
B.@.D

The Sheild: not a bad seasn at all, bt only because theres no such THING as a bad season of the shield

Anonymous said...

so when u meat a grl like that how do u xplain lving in at home still?

Anonymous said...

Usually theres no need to explain something like that, comng from someone else who lives at home who is a year OLDER than bad. Usually no one requires that explanation knowing what the Calgary real estate market is, and how the real world works.

Anyone who does is PROBABLY a little too proud of moving out, likely because it's the best thing you've accomplished so far in life.

Yes, well, the hiatus has been interrupted, has it? Do any of the little 'weblings' feel like getting into it on any subjects? I have a bit of free time at the moment. Perhaps young Mizzle would like to take up the challenge, he seems to always be up for a spirited debate. Any takers then?
