Always Wash Your Hands Before Talking To Strangers

Hope everyone likes the new trailer! It's on the sidebar for you visually impaired people. Although if you're visually impaired, you won't be able to enjoy it, but, at least enjoy the sounds! Although you might have trouble managing to click on it if you're blind...

The last set of stories is coming along nicely, for those of you wondering. And for those of you questioning whether I can lock this whole thing down, someone is going to get hurt, and it's not going to be me.
(Hint: It's going to be you.)

So I'm looking for a new treadmill show for the gym. I've just about finished the entire Soprano's series, and I have to say that it was fucking brilliant. I believe the highlight for myself was the relationship between Christopher and Adrianna, how their relationship had so many high and low points. Of course, most of the high points included them being high and the low points included him having her killed, but nonetheless. I felt bad about Adriana getting killed. But she was oblivious and knew what Christopher was doing. And she lived with it. And let's face it, if she hadn't been oblivious, she'd have never gotten into that car with Sil.

Speaking of which, I got a huge kick out of Silvio and Paulie. Silvio's like ice, and so many thing's are just black and white to him. He's a diplomat and probably the only guy in the "family" who is happy where he is. Paulie is a bit crazy and whatnot, but he's such a proud man, and I think a lot of people are going to miss him when he's gone.

By the way, I'm still finishing up the last season, so do NOT spoil it for me. I can't WAIT until the end. Do you know how hard it's been to stay spoiler-free until now?

ANYWHOOT, I need a new show for treadmilling. Six Feet Under has been suggested to me by a co-worker who will soon find his career swirling counter-clockwise down the shitter if I don't like it. If anyone has any other suggestions, let's post them here, shall we?

Not much is new. Still seeing a cute girl, but we're both pretty busy people so that's slow-going. Not that that's a bad thing, if anything it's a good thing. Taking your time is a lost art, especially with me, so this is refreshing. Today I'm relaxing and reading Stephen Colbert's book, which IS AWESOME, by the way, and listening to the new Bruce Springsteen / E Street Band CD. It's definatley worth a listen.

I so totally cussed out a guy who was yelling at this poor girl behind a Burger King counter last night. Completely emberassed and humiliated the old guy. I don't even feel bad. I'll tell the story complete with the hilarious lines I used on his sorry ass when I feel like typing that much. Suffice to say, no one was slacking off. They we're running around doing their best in a bad situation. Anyone outside a coma could see it. People who cuss out kids who are doing their best deserve a punch in the sack. Honestly, do you think they're not trying their best when they're all running around trying their best and there's a sign on the door that says "training 6 new employees, service slower than usual, sorry for any inconvenience"? Have you not tried to order fast food in Calgary during the last 2 years? Haven't picked up a paper and read about a labor crisis? You don't have the right to bitch at the people who are doing their best. Yelling at service staff is something that is completely inexcusable. I hope I don't forget what it's like to be in service / retail and turn into that asshole. The lines I used on this guy we're nothing short of hilarious though. I was so waiting for him to jump, the only way it would have gotten better would have been if he actually had.

I'm kind of melencholy about the site shutting down. I still think it's the right decision, but I'll miss it. But I've had a helluva run with this thing and all the different incarnatinos it's gone through. The site will still be UP. And that'll be cool to have it standing for all time as a testament to what all websites should aspire to. I'll even give out my permission for it to be something that can be sworn upon when a Bible is not readily available.

God Bless!

good for you. not enough people stand up to the assholes who take the people that are actually there DOING the work in the service industry for granted. its the ones who arent there or the companies who dont pay enough that are to blame... not the ones that are ACTUALLY making the burger.
