The one with a lot of random s*it from my break

Oooh yeah, new year
Next phase begins
Look who's got you
Goin' crazy again

God damn. I loves me some Dr. Dre.

Welcome to Season 3. Hopefully everybody had a great Christmas and a great New Year's. I know I did, although Boxing Day probably topped them both. Here's some random musings from my 3 week break from school.

On Boxing Day, I procured The Matrix Trilogy, probably the greatest series of movies to ever have been released. I know, I know, a lot of people say it fell apart around the end of the second movie, and the third was garbage, blah blah blah, but chances are, anyone who didn't like it, probably just didn't understand it. Also, you might be blind. You might want to get that looked at.

Also on Boxing Day, I picked up the first two seasons of 24, just so that I could have something to watch while I do cardio. Wow, was I ever blown away. I've always liked Keifer, but I think this is easily the only decent role he's ever been handed, and he goes to town with it. I'm not even 1/3 done the first season, and I'm already beyond hooked.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which was my gift to myself after my last semester, has been named Game of the Year. Not Halo 2. Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah, Dan. Very easily one of the best games I've ever played. Takes a little while to get the hang of completely, but once you do, you'll be shooting hookers in the face and taking their money on a daily basis.

Finally found The Rise & Fall of ECW, and it ended up being well worth the wait. It's the best DVD's ever about the little promotion that could. Gained even more respect than I had before for Paul Heyman and Tazz. Also picked up the Eddie Guererro DVD, probably one of the best wrestling DVD's ever in terms of his real life story. Eddie kicked alcoholism and drug abuse's ass. Also came across the Shawn Michaels Boyhood Dream DVD, and I don't think another wrestler ever will have as good a year as he did in 1996.

Work is still really cool, but after 3 years on front end, it's wierd not to have any lifers to fight with, so I'm like... constantly waiting for my next beef to start. But everyone back in C/S is awesome, especially my boss, so it's not gonna happen. Which is good, because I don't need another one that went as far as the one with Wendy and/or Grace did. Do I miss F/E? No. But I do feel bad that a lot of my friends take so much s*it from those lifers. You guys, these people are not your boss, they're just much older, and much, much, much less capable than you. You don't have to take anything from them.

I need to point out that I'm extremely proud of my Dad, who has become a cooking superstar, along with his 2 new best friends, grated parmesan and parsely. Oh, right, by the way... remember when I said I would be the Risk champ before the new year came around? I was right.

Elimination Chamber in Peurto Rico tonight! So F'n pumped. If Batista wins the belt tonight, I'm going to make today a religious holiday for myself every year. Do I need to point out that as of his wicked match on Monday, he's one of only two people to legitimately beat Chris Benoit in the last 2 years?

To everyone who I was able to see over the holidays, it was great to see you. To everyone who I didn't get to see because of schedules or whatever, hopefully it won't be long before we can catch up.
