Cool Net Stuff

On Sunday, I worked for "Boom Marketing", and promoted the Canadian Tire Gift Registry, called the "Celebration Station" at the Bridal Show on Sunday. Big thank you to Hin for setting this up for me, it was a great time. Also, a big thanks to Rae-rae for coming with us. Standing around the coolest booth at the show (eat it, Home Outfitters and The Bay) and talking to people and showing them all the cool stuff they can get is never a bad way to make an easy $100.

I've got some updates on my departure from the Front End, and I'll put them in an upcoming post. Today I'm lazy.

Looking for cool stuff to check out on the internet (besides my wicked live journal) while they're killing time at school or at home? Here's some of the cool stuff I look at when I'm in between classes.

Information Clearing House: Props to VeggieMo for showing me this... an unbiased news site, telling you stuff you won't see on FOX news or CNN.

Ill Will Press: Nothing could be better than a spastic little grey squirrel screaming the stuff we all love to hear about. Check out the "Small, Medium, Large" video first, it's the best. Hilarious stuff. Props to Double-D getting me hooked on this.

Maddox: Quite an angry man, but he comes up with some funny s*it. Check out the "Crappy Children's Artwork" section for a great laugh.

Download.com: Where to find the best applications on the web... this is where I found Ad-Aware, MiniMinder, all the cool stuff like that. Good to check out from time to time.

Drudge Report: Another good site with some very good news articles.

Rip Off Report: Think something might be a rip-off? Search for it on here, and you'll find out. Consequently, if you've bought something that you got ripped off on, post it on here so other people won't get ripped off like you did.

Dances-with-white-girls' Blog: I inspired Leah to create her own blog. Admittedly though, it's not as cool as mine.

I-can't-think-of-a-nickname-for-James' Blog: Same as Leah, names reversed.
