Farewell to the F.E.

So I was supposed to have 2 weeks left on the Front End before I left to go to produce (possibly Customer Service, but I'll touch on that another day), but yesterday I decided I didn't want to be just a cashier anymore, not after 4 weeks of supervising. If I was going to stay on the Front End, it would have had to have been as a supervisor. I would have applied to keep supervising, on a permanent basis, but they won't work around my school, which is not so hard to understand.

So I went ahead and gave myself some time off, so I will be taking a self-appointed 2 week vacation. I'll be back as soon as I start in produce. Today will be my last day on Front End.

Before I go, I want to say that working with most of you was great. So to Jaibe, Sandra, Raeleen, Brittaney, Steve, Damon, Ashley, Amanda, Marina, you guys we're the greatest to work with, and if it was just people like you on the front end, there's no way I would leave until I was done school.

And to the best friend I have at Co-op, period; Christine, Baby-C. If I knew that every day I had left at Co-op would be a shift with you, I'd stay. You make work easy and fun, almost so much that it's not like work. But you're leaving too... although for you it's much better, because you're getting out of Co-op entirely, and you got a real job. You deserve to get out, so it's great that you graduated and you finally did it... I can't wait for the day when I can say that. I know I'll still talk to you all the time, so that makes it a lot easier.

For the last 4 weeks, I've been a supervisor, and it's pretty much been just me and Lisa, which has been an absolute blast, and I'm not sure I've ever learned so much from anyone in Co-op, ever. This woman is a class act. Lisa, Jaret, and Dave are the 3 best supervisors I've ever seen at Co-op, period. Jaret and Dave are gone, sadly, which is another reason why it was easy for me to leave. For some of you though, you haven't known Lisa very long yet, and you have a different impression about her. Let me tell you that she may not look like it, but she's incredibly easy to get along with, and she will bend over backwards to help with any problems you ever have.

I won't miss all of you, but I'll miss most of you.
