I'm sad, but I'm also ANGRY, because I know why this happened. We all know why this happened. We know why it happened to Hennig, to Crash...we all know it.
He sits in a big office and he makes these edicts that force people into bad choices just to have a job. Blood is on his hands *again*.
Hells yes he was. Remarkably talented, he could wrestle any style and do it *well*, always made you feel like he was playing just for you. Things will not be the same without Latino Heat.
It's just so sad. Eddie was one of my heroes too...and he'll always be. He was one hell of a wrestler, one of the best of his generation, and I'm pretty damn sure he was an even better person. Thank you Eduardo Guerrero...thank you for everything, for all the memories. You will be deeply missed and the wrestling world will never be the same without you
This really is fucking nuts. I dont think anyone saw this coming at all. Two nights ago he was wrestling on tv; two nights later he is above us in spirit. We'll all remember the hell out of Eddie and respect him for everthing he has done. we'll never forget you man. take it easy in your after life. thanks for the memories. one of the biggest loss's in wrestling... thanks for entertaining us
No words can describe the feelings that I, along side many wrestling fans and wrestlers alike are going through right now. not since owen has the world lost one of the best active wrestlers or maybe one of the best wrestlers period. Eddie was more than a entertainer he was a professional wrestler, and professional is the key word her folks, im really in shock and have alot to say but its very hard to put them in words with the emotions that im feeling... so for now all i will say is god bless eddie and his family, im sure hes cheating to win right now in that great big wrestling ring in the sky, we will miss you eddie, much love and respect. viva la raza!!
Hey man, I've been reading you lj for sometime now. I've been a long time wrestling fan and actually just started training.
I came home and read the news and my heart just sank. I froze and couldn't believe what I was reading was true. I've always love Eddie, heel or face, there was always something about him.
After reading your post, it finally hit me why I loved the man so much. Eddie Guerrero is a hero.
Fuck, man. I'm still in shock. I log on to my computer, and find that Eddie Fucking Guerrero, one of the best ever, in my book, is gone. I'm still in shock. Yesterday was the first time I'd cried in, God, I don't know how long. I just can't believe it. I watched him on Smackdown one day, he's dead the next. That seriously freaked me out.
The world won't be the same without you, my friend...
All I have to say has already been said, here or elsewhere. So all I'll say is this...
Thank you, Eddie, for all the laughs, tears, gasps, winces, smiles, curses, shouts of glee, and objects thrown at my television. Thank you for entertaining me so much for so long. If there is any justice in this world, you're tearing the place down with Chris, Owen, Curt, and the rest right now.
I was a true fan of Eddie's, but the man had a place among some of my favorites. My moms is really sad though, Eddie was her favorite wrestler (come to think of it I think he's the only wrestler she ever knew)
R.I.P. Eddie, wrestle for that big promotion in the sky I gusse.
RIP Eddie. You were one of the greatest performers and entertainers the wrestling business had ever seen. I'm hoping that it was at least true that he's been clean for 4 years. That way he left this world with all of his dignity and pride. He deserves that much.
Even now i've had a few days for it all to sink in I really don't know quite how to deal with Eddie's death. I saw him live here in the UK a handful of times and I never met him, yet it's still difficult to deal with.
I think the idea of a man passing away at such a young age and leaving a full family behind him is what is so truly heartbreaking. I just finally managed to get a copy of Monday's RAW and cried throughout - I thought Chavo's, Benoit's and Steph's comments were particularly touching; I'll be looking forward to seeing Smackdown too. Especially with talk of those other members of the roster who may be heading the same way, I can only hope that Eddie's death will lead to others changing their ways and that it will help them in the long run.
Punk, we'd all love to hear some stories, hopefully about the man and not just the worker - it's strange how as a fan, you can feel as though you know someone without ever having known them at all. R.I.P. Eddie.

i think the whole wrestling community is at a loss for words. it's so damn sad. he was doing so well.
RIP Eddie, I still feel sick in my stomach.
I'm so very, very sorry for his wife and daughters.
one of my best wrestling memories is Eddie beating Brock Lesnar for the WWE title at No way out 2004.
He gave us so many bright moments, and now he's gone.
This fucking sucks.
i notice the wrestling fans dont often come out here....
there comin' in packs today tho... that's a reflection of eddie rite there
Eddie Guerrero represented everything right about wrestling. He made me proud to be a fan.
This is a black day.
I will never forget Eddie. We were so blessed to have him, and I never want to forget him.

I was honoured to see Eddie wrestle many times and every time was a true pleasure. He was truly one of a kind.
R.I.P. Eddie :(
Heaven's got a pretty badass federation going now, and Eddie's going to have some classics against Owen.
I haven't been this emotional over wrestling since Owen passed away.
RIP Eddie, one of the greatest of all time...
REST IN PEACE EDDIE, you will be missed by many!

Words have been at a loss for me all day.
This came as a complete shock to me and I'm only a fan. I cannot imagine the feelings going through the heads of people he worked with.

nothing like how he died is as signifigant or compares to the fact that he died and is gone.
it doesn't matter. no matter what anybody says.
Eddie, you ruled all. That's about it.
We miss you already man.
