Super Ozi Kart 16

Well it's been so long since my last post, i figured i was just about due to reappear again.

Over the past 6 weeks or so we've had a lot going on - one of the boy's friends was killed in a car accident, a shooting took place outside my work where someone died and 3 others were shot, our best friends lost a brother and 2 other very good friends broke up with their partners. I know the blog doesn't demand much time, but mentally there's just been too much going on.

Ok so enough sad stuff, this is a place of joy! ;o) Saturday night 16 of us took to the local Go Karting track for a 3 hours tournament. I've never karted before, and to be honest i was scared to death before we took off. They split us into 2 groups, which coincidentally meant 4 girls and their 4 boyfriends. The boys were way too competitive and ended up lapping most of us several times. The girls got slammed into corners while being overtaken and ended up with quite a few bruises. Needless to say, by the final race the track was filled with 8 boys. Nevermind, apart from the severe shoulder ache today, we had such a good night.

We are counting down to our trip now - a bit over a month till we leave. I am so over work at the moment and spend every minute dreaming about California or Vegas. I don't know how coming back here afterwards will sit too well, as i remember last time it took me about 2 months to settle back in. Ahhhh well, at least i am going in the first place!

So hope everyone else out there is doing well - can't wait to see Lindsay Lohan go to jail - she is so crazy!
